FSR Cycle Tester
A test fixture that simulates repeated touching of a force sensing resistor

DESCRIPTION
This is a device to test the lifespan and accuracy of a force sensing resistor which was going to be used in a non-moving button (like in the latest iPhone home button). Unfortunately the project was abandoned mid-way through due to changes in product feature requirements.
FEATURES
Solenoid with variable forcing speed and power using different springs and voltages
Arduino controller (for variable cycle speeds, lengths, and frequencies) and a power shield
Miniature padded shaft coupling to connect Silicone tip to solenoid and damp recoil noise
3D printed tip made of Silicone (to simulate a finger) printed over a plastic shaft for attachment
Compact, high accuracy force gage, with multiple options
